WILLIAM HANFORD⁷ PERKINS, son of (204) Elijah Harvey⁶ [(114) Elijah⁵, (37) Azariah⁴, (6) John³, (2) John², (1) Edward¹], was born at Litchfield, Conn., July 11, 1819, and married, first, June 2, 1842, Mary Montague of Troy, N. Y., Dr. N. L. Beman performing the ceremony; and second, February 8, 1848, Sarah Olivia Dewey of Rochester, N. Y., who was born in Pittsfield, November 30, 1827, Rev. Dr. Chester Dewey officiating; she died August 1, 1911.

He was injured in a railroad accident at Sauquoit Creek, N. Y., and his death resulted from his injuries at Utica, N. Y., May 12, 1858.

The children of (338) William Hanford⁷ and Sarah Olivia (Dewey) Perkins were:

411	GEORGE HAMILTON⁸, born May 30, 1851, in Rochester, N. Y., and married, Jan. 20, 1881, at Sag Harbor, N. Y., Mary Nott Wild, who was born April 28, 1854.
412	MARY⁸, born Jan. 27, 1855, in Rochester, N. Y., and married, Sept. 29, 1880, William John Averell, who was born in Ogdensburg, N. Y., Nov. 23, 1821, and died Feb. 28, 1897. Their only child was Chester Dewey, born Nov. 30, 1882, in Ogdensburg, N. Y.
413	FANNY DEWEY⁸, born April 26, 1857, in Rochester, N. Y., and died July 14, 1857.
