338 | WILLIAM HANFORD7 PERKINS, son of (204) Elijah Harvey6 [(114) Elijah5, (37) Azariah4, (6) John3, (2) John2, (1) Edward1], was born at Litchfield, Conn., July 11, 1819, and married, first, June 2, 1842, Mary Montague of Troy, N. Y., Dr. N. L. Beman performing the ceremony; and second, February 8, 1848, Sarah Olivia Dewey of Rochester, N. Y., who was born in Pittsfield, November 30, 1827, Rev. Dr. Chester Dewey officiating; she died August 1, 1911. He was injured in a railroad accident at Sauquoit Creek, N. Y., and his death resulted from his injuries at Utica, N. Y., May 12, 1858.
