SALT LAKE CITY, Nov 14 - (AP)
Positive identification of a skeleton found in a ravine east of this city remained undecided today, although Mrs. Doris Reid, wife of Sergeant James Reid, who disappeared in August, 1933, said the silk underware on the bones was similar to that worn by her husband.
Sergeant Reid disappeared after leaving a note indicating he intended to commit suicide, Mrs. Reid said. No word has been heard from him since. She was unable to positively identify the skelton, however, as that of her husband.
A coroner's jury returned a verdict that the man came to his death from a bullet wound fired by a revolver which was found near the death scene.
