40 | BENJAMIN4 PERKINS, son of (6) John3 [(2) John2, (1) Edward1] was born in New Haven, Oct. 26, 1724; married, April 3, 1745, Rebecca Johnson, daughter of Lambert and Sarah (Osborn) Johnson, of Wallingford, and died in 1750. August 23, 1749, for £123, he bought of his brother John Perkins, Jr., one acre of land with the sawmill, bounded in part on land of John Perkins, Sr. October 23, 1749, for £52, he deeded to his brother Azariah one-third part of his half of two acres and one-third of his half of the sawmill he bought of his brother John. Administration on his estate was granted his widow, Rebecca, October, 1750; the inventory amounted to £1615, 14s. March 13, 1752, his widow, Rebecca, married John Wilmot, Jr. After his death she married, August 3, 1756, for her third husband, Samuel Thomas. |
