147 | EDWARD5 PERKINS, son of (60) Peter4 [(8) Peter3, (2) John2, (1) Edward1], was born in New Haven, October 25, 1743; married, first, Mary, daughter of Israel and Martha (Hine) Thomas; second, Rosanna Judd. Rosanna, it is said, married second James Brown of Burlington, Conn., and had children, Eunice, Irving and Appellina. Said widow died November 9, 1821. She was living when her third and last husband made his will, but she was not named in it. He removed first to Whitehall, Bethany, where he kept a tavern for several years. He then went to Woodbridge. November 1, 1781, he bought of Isaac Beecher two acres and two and one-half rods of land in the northwest corner of his farm in the parish of Bethany. The same |
