5½ acres, and another lot of 4½ acres, valued at £80. O. Tenor.

May 23, 1750, he and his two sons, Amos and David, bought of Abram and James Basset for £168 14 acres and 30 rods in seventh division.

November 28, 1751, Whereas, Daniel Perkins of New Haven and the rest of ye children then living of David Perkins, dec'd, by a certain instrument dated January 8, 1733-4, did divide the estate of said David and set off to James Thomas, then a minor and only child and heir of Rebecca Thomas, then dec'd, one of the children of said David, 10 acres; also one-third of the movable estate which said James doth now conceive to be his full portion, and receives said estate in full.

April 2, 1753, deeds from Moses Sperry 10 acres in seventh division bounded on Amos Perkins. April 9, 1753, for £319, O. T., sells to Hannah, widow of Isaac Sperry, 18 acres, 4 rods in fifth division.

Lieut. Daniel Perkins married May 5, 1714, Martha, daughter of Thomas Elcock, who was born in New Haven July , 1693; administration on her estate was granted to Obadiah Hotchkiss February 1767.

He made his will May 29, 1756, and it was proven December, 1760. In it he names his wife Martha, sons Amos and David, daughters Mary Hitchcock, Martha and Mercy Perkins; grandchildren Sarah and Samuel Perkins, children of son Samuel, to whom he gives 100 oz. of silver; grandchildren Elizabeth and Jabez Perkins, children of son Daniel, 100 oz. of silver. Wife Martha and sons Amos and David executors. Inventory of estate £573, 19s, 8d. He was called on the records Lieut. Daniel. He died , 1760.

The children of (23) Lieut. Daniel3 and Martha (Elcock) Perkins were:

80 MARY4, born June 12, 1715; married Nov. 25, 1740, Samuel, son of John Hitchcock and Abiah (Basset), who was born Nov. 5, 1713.
