30 | ROGER4 PERKINS, son of (6) John3 [(2) John2 (1) Edward1], was born in New Haven March 25, 1704, and according to Orcutt's History of Derby, Conn., he married first, Ann Russell, ; Mary ( ) was his second wife and at her decease administration on her estate was granted her son-in-law (step-son) Ithiel Perkins, July 25, 1789. He made his will October 6, 1751, which was proved November following. It mentions wife Mary, son Ethiel, to whom he gives all his right in Quaker farm purchase. To his four eldest daughters, Mary, Anna, Ann and Damaris, all the rest of the movable estate. The two youngest daughters, Eunice and Sarah, to receive £20 each when 18 years of age.
