AZARIAH4 PERKINS, son of (6) John3 [(2) John2, (1) Edward1], was born in New Haven, April 2, 1718, and October 12, 1743, married Anna Johnson of Wallingford; she was daughter of Lambert and Rebecca (Curtis) Johnson. February 19, 1739-40, he bought of his brother John Perkins, Jr., 27 acres of land; February 7, 1744-5, he bought of Thomas Gilbert (son of Thomas, dec'd.) 21 acres 6 rods; June 13, 1748, he bought of Moses Bradley of Wallingford 15 acres in fifth division; October 23, 1749, for £52, he bought of his brother Benjamin one-third part of his half of 2 acres of land and one-third of his half of a sawmill he bought of his brother John Perkins; October 23, 1752, for £60, Joshua Atwater conveyed to him a seventh division lot of land laid out to his father, David Atwater, dec'd. On March 11, 1747, Azariah Perkins and his wife, Anna, deeded land to their brother, Benjamin Johnson, which they inherited from their father, Mr. Lambert Johnson of Wallingford, deceased. April 12, 1755, he deeded to his sister, Anne Perkins of Wallingford, all right in his father's estate, it being the land and barn situated at the north end of Amity Parish, also all the right I bought of my brother and sister (Sarah) Crawfoot (perhaps this name, Crayfoot or Crawfut should be Crawford); October 17, 1769, he conveys by deed of gift to his son Azariah 10 acres in the Parish of Bethany; March 6, 1781, he deeds or leases to his son |
