98 | JOHN5 PERKINS, son of (33) John4 [(6) John3, (2) John2, (1) Edward1], was born in New Haven August 30, 1749; married, July 24, 1776, Jerusha Turner. February 25, 1783, while of New Haven, he bought of Joseph Gilbert and wife Mabel, 25 acres in the parish of Mt. Carmel, New Haven. He afterwards resided in Hamden, and in 1790, according to the United States Census, his family consisted of one male 16 years and upwards, two males under 16, and five females. He died in 1832, and October 17 in that year administration upon his estate was granted to John Perkins. The children of (98) John5 and Jerusha (Turner) Perkins were:

He resided in Hamden, Conn., and died June 5, 1826, and, according to the U. S. Census of 1790, his family that year consisted of one male 16 and upwards and one female, probably himself and his wife. The children of (104) Aaron5 and Odice ( ) Perkins were (probably):
