DESCENDANTS OF EDWARD PERKINS


Fourth Generation



June 15, 1781, David Perkins, Roger Alling and his wife Lydia, Jacob Sperry and wife Sarah, Joel Hine and wife Mary and Huldah Perkins of New Haven, convey by deed to David Baldwin and wife Martha "all our right in 4¼ acres in the parish of Amity; also £8 4s. 4d.; right in the dwelling house and barn, it being part of the third of widow Lydia Perkins, late of New Haven, deceased."

March 6, 1781, David and Huldah Perkins, Roger Alling and wife Lydia, David Baldwin and wife Martha, for and in consideration of a quit claim from Jacob Sperry and wife; Joel Hine and wife, do release, quit claim, &c, unto said Jacob and Joel, all our right in the home lot of David Perkins, dec'd, bounded east on the highway, north on Amos Perkins, west on Elijah Perkins, south on David Perkins and David Baldwin, being in all six acres. Also our right in the house and barn:--it being the thirds of widow Lydia Perkins, dec'd.

He died October 3, 1776, and his widow Lydia May 7, 1781.

The children of (84) David4 and Lydia (Bradley) Perkins were:

172 DAVID5, born Dec. 30, 1749; died in Woodbridge Dec. 1, 1818.
173 LYDIA5, born March 16, 1750-1; married, July 30 or 31, 1771, Roger Alling; died May 19, 1839.
174 SARAH5, born Oct. 24, 1752; married, Sept. 1st, 1773, Jacob Sperry.
175 MARY5, born ; married, Jan. 1, 1777, Joel Hine.
176 MARTHA5, born Oct. 10, 1757; married, Feb. 25, 1778, David Baldwin of Waterbury, Conn.
177 HULDAH5, born
178 ISAAC5, born about 1755; died unmarried, April, 1777. Administration upon his estate granted his brother David, May 2, 1777. The inventory amounted to £611, 2s, 7d, to be divided between his one brother and five sisters.
