172 | DAVID5 PERKINS, son of (84) David4 [(23 Lt. Daniel3, (5) David2, (1) Edward1], was born in New Haven December 30, 1749, and married Anna Beecher June 19, 1772; she was born February 9, 1753, and died October 28, 1846. January 11, 1782, he sold to Daniel Peck 3½ acres at Sergeants Rocks, Amity parish, bounded on Chas. Bradley, Isaac Ford, Alling Sperry and the highway. The U. S. Census of 1790 mentions that his family then consisted of one male 16 and upwards, two males under 16, and four females. He made his will September 30, 1803, and it was entered for probate January 4, 1819. He bequeaths to his daughter Betsey Lines £10; grandson Nelson Clark £10; and to sons David and Isaac the residue. The inventory of his estate amounted to $3,632.40. He died in Woodbridge, Conn., December , 1818, but the date of the death of his wife has not been learned; it was before September 30, 1803.
