Daniel3, (5) David2, (1) Edward1], was born in New Haven, July 17, 1756; married, August 9, 1774, Lydia Sperry, who was admitted to church in Woodbridge, May 25, 1788, at which time she had the children named below baptized. He resided in that part of New Haven which was incorporated as Woodbridge, in which town he served several times as constable and grand-juryman. September 11, 1777, he bought of Isaac Ford one-half of seventh division, called the College lot. February 12, 1781, he sold to Amos Perkins (his brother) twelve acres in seventh division. June 14, 1781, for £œ1 7s., Isaac Ford conveyed to him 2¼ acres in the parish of Amity, which he bought of the corporation of Yale College, bounded west on the highway, south on the Mather lot, north on me and David Perkins, and east on Thomas Perkins. March 21, 1781, for £8, he bought of Charles Bradley two acres in Amity parish, bounded east on Deacon Amos |
