him and a committee appointed by the Proprietors of Quaker Farm Purchase, Oxford parish, whereby for 12s. he receives a lease of land on the west side of Woodbury road for 999 years.

October 5, 1787, he buys of David Fabrique of Southbury ten acres in Quaker Farm. April 25, 1791, the Proprietors' Committee deed him 17 acres at Old Pound Hollow in Quaker parish.

According to the U. S. Census of 1790, while residing in Derby, his family consisted of two males of 16 and upwards; one male under 16, and two females.

From Derby he removed to Watertown, Litchfield County, between 1791 and January 16, 1796, when for £30 he deeded to David Tomlinson of Derby 20 acres in Hull's Hill, it being the same I bought of Stephen Curtis February 19, 1793.

The deeds for Derby are kept at Ansonia.

He died August 15, 1841. The date of his wife's death is unknown.

The children of (166) Daniel5 and Elizabeth (Beecher) Perkins were:

JOHN4 PERKINS, son of (10) Elisha3 [(2) John2, (1) Edward1], was born September 9, 1719, and settled in Cheshire, where he was living in 1790. He married, first, at New Haven, May 19, 1746, Dorcas Brooks of Deerfield, who died April 9, 1757; and, second, at Wallingford, February 11, 1762, Eunice Johnson.

The children of (65) John4 and Dorcas (Brooks) Perkins were:
