12 | NATHAN3 PERKINS, son of (2) John2 [(1) Edward1], was born in New Haven, June 19, 1729, he was one of the three witnesses to the will of his brother Peter. August 11, 1735, Daniel Hill of Durham, Conn., for £18, quitclaims to Nathan Perkins and his wife, formerly Abigail Hill, and to Susanna Hill, all interest in the estate of his mother, Abigail Hill, dec'd, late of New Haven. He had made a will in which his widow Abigail was appointed executrix. On its presentation for probate, the Judge, for some unknown reason, refused to accept the same, and waiving the matter for the present, appointed her administratrix of the estate, January 7, 1747-8. The inventory of the estate was £573, 5s, 6d. Joel was then the only surviving son. He married, May 13, 1718, Abigail Hill, who died after January 7, 1747-8. He died, 1747.
