Elijah Prindle and his wife Elizabeth, Simeon Perkins and his wife Tryphena of Wallingford, and Elihu Benham of Woodbridge deeded land to John Benham and his wife Mary, of New Haven. He lived in Meriden, Conn., and died about 1807. According to the U. S. Census of 1790, the family of Simeon Perkins of Wallingford at that time consisted of one male 16 and upwards, one male under 16, and two females. 130 | MOSES5 PERKINS, son of (64) Elisha4 [(8) Elisha3, (2) John2, (1) Edward1], was born September 16, 1747, and March 23, 1769, married Mary Smith of Wallingford, Conn. He lived a while at East Haven, New Haven County, Conn., and probably was the Moses Perkins who was living at Hampton, Washington County, N. Y., in 1790, whose family then consisted of one male 16 and upwards, five males under 16, and seven females. |
