his widow Eunice, June 7, 1790, and the inventory was £357 9s. 16d.

The Census of 1790 enumerates the family of Unice Perkins as consisting of three males under 16 and four females.

January 9, 1794, a sale of a portion of the estate having been made, the proceeds were divided as follows, viz.: To Eunice Miner, alias Perkins (the widow having married Shadrach Miner), £87.

To the eldest son £67 9s. 1d.

To each of the other children £33 14s. 10d.

Mary, minor daughter, made choice of Shadrach Miner as her guardian April 2, 1796, and on this date a further distribution was made between said Eunice Miner, daughter Mary Perkins, eldest son Thomas, the second son, and Jeremiah, the youngest son.

The children of (158) Thomas5 and Eunice (Wood) Perkins were:

270 MARY6, born Feb. , 1778, in Woodbridge.
271 THOMAS6, born Oct. , 1779, in Woodbridge.
272 ELI6, born Jan. , 1781, in Woodbridge; died young.
273 JESSE6, born Feb. , 1781, in Woodbridge, where he died in 1829, and Nov. 29 of that year Israel Perkins was appointed administrator in place of his widow, who refused to serve.
274 JEREMIAH6, born Nov. , 1789, in Woodbridge; was unmarried and died Dec., 1818.

SAMUEL5 PERKINS, son of (81) Samuel4 [(23) Daniel3, (5) David2, (1) Edward1], was born October 10, 1748; married, October 17, 1773, Sarah Brown, who was born July 13, 1754, and died August 19, 1834.

He made his will July 1, 1775, and it was proved September 1, 1778. In it he bequeathed all his estate to his wife Sarah.

He died July 2, 1778, and his widow married, April 27, 1783, for her second husband, Benjamin Mathews.
