SAMUEL5 PERKINS, son of (60) Peter4 [(8) Peter3, (2) John2, (1) Edward1], was born September 11, 1756; married, November 26, 1778, Amy Beecher. He removed to Litchfield from Cheshire, New Haven County, Conn., before 1787, and, according to the U. S. Census of 1790, his family consisted of one male 16 and upwards, four males under 16, and two females.

The children of (151) Samuel5 and Amy (Beecher) Perkins were (probably):

JONATHAN5 PERKINS, son of (77) Thomas4 [(14) Seth3, (4) Jonathan2, (1) Edward1], was born April 28, 1747, and married, January 10, 1771, Lydia Carrington of Amity, Conn., who was baptized June 16, 1745.

He resided in New Haven.

According to the U. S. Census of 1790, the family of Jonathan Perkins of Woodbridge consisted of two males 16 and upwards, one male under 16, and two females.
